Hot Springs National Park Traveler Patch

 Patch Size: 2"x3"

The first designation of Hot Springs Reservation was set aside by Congress on April 20, 1832 to protect the geothermal spring water for public health and wellness; Hot Springs National Park was established on March 4, 1921. Used by Native American tribes for millennia for the healing properties of the natural thermal springs, the water at Hot Springs National Park becomes heated at a depth of approximately one mile before beginning the journey back to the surface, emerging through a fault.  The addition of hiking trails, campgrounds, bathhouse tours and gallery walks complete the American spa experience.
